Health, fitness and general wellbeing for me is a lifestyle.
I was lucky enough to have this instilled in me from a very young age by parents who were enthusiastically involved in the fitness industry.
I believe that everything we do in life is all about balance. My passion for weight training and yoga, together with a healthy lifestyle and attitude, provide the balance I need to bring out the very best in me.
It wasn’t until much later in life that I took up adult learning which enabled me to share my passion through facilitation of group fitness classes combining strength, cardio and endurance, complimented with Yin Yoga, to deliver holistic benefits to our mind, body and spirit.
It is such a privilege to have an opportunity in life to share our passion with others and to be part of their journey to discover the best version of themselves that they can be.
Mia teaches Yin Yoga and Max NRG at HBF Arena
Kat lives and breathes a holistic lifestyle and all things yoga.
Yoga has been a part of Kat's life ever since taking her first class in 2009. Over the years Kat has tried many different styles of yoga from Hot Hatha to vinyasa and yin. Her favourite being Yin Yoga.
After taking her first yoga teacher training in Los Angeles in 2011 Kat hasn’t looked back. With now over 1000 hours of training to her name and nearly seven years of teaching experience Kat still believes there is always more to learn. When she's not in Perth teaching Kat can be found expanding her yoga knowledge by taking different training courses around the world.
Yoga is a lifestyle on and off the mat. It has assisted Kat in staying balanced despite the stresses of modern living.
