HBF Arena is approximately 1km from the Joondalup railway station, about 15 minutes by foot. Buses run regularly from the train station and surrounding suburbs.


There are 1000 parking spaces at the venue including disabled and motorbike bays. Bicycle racks are located by the entrance to secure your bike. A parking fee may apply during major events.

Change Room Upgrades

As part of VenuesWest’s commitment to upgrade HBF Arena’s existing toilets and change rooms, the change rooms and toilets within the aquatics hall and behind reception will be closed for refurbishment and not publicly accessible from Monday 21 November 2016 until the end of March 2017.

Temporary toilets and change rooms will be installed outside the western end of the aquatics hall, which can be accessed from the internal pool deck - see map below. These facilities will be installed approximately one week prior to the works commencing.

Access to the toilets and change rooms near the Swim School office, including the family change room and accessible facilities, will remain unchanged.

The dry side cafe will remain open and can be accessed through the glass doors adjoining the leisure pool gardens.

The toilets and change rooms near the basketball courts, and on the first floor, will remain open.

Signage will also be erected inside the venue, however please speak with one of our friendly reception staff should you have any questions.

We understand this may cause short-term inconvenience, however these upgrades are all positive steps towards improving our facilities and enhancing the customer experience.
