Heading to Listen Out? Here's your packing list

Posted: 18 September 2019

One of Perth’s best events, also known as Australia’s biggest dance party, Listen Out is coming to HBF Arena this September! To make sure you’re all set for a great day, we’ve got you sorted with a packing list, have a read below:

Your ticket

Listen Out tickets are primarily PDF print-at-home tickets. Be organised and make sure your ticket is printed and safely in your bag ready for you to present on entry. No one wants to be stuck out the front sorting out their ticket they left at home while their friends are inside enjoying themselves!

Bank card, some cash & ID

Cards are accepted at all bars and facilities at Listen Out (no AMEX, Diners or any international cards). There are also two bars where cash can be used to purchase beverages. There are no cash out facilities available at the event.
As Listen Out is an over 18s event photo ID checks will certainly take place - make sure you have your ID packed in your bag!

Set list

There’s a super handy app you can download on your phone (search for the Fuzzy App). Here you can look at the set times and save the acts you want to see, plus create your own customised planner so you don’t miss out on seeing your favourites. The app also includes a map so you don’t get lost.

Portable phone charger

Don’t get caught out when your battery is running on empty and dies from all the photo and video you’ve taken of your favourite artists during the day. No one likes being left high and dry unable to take Instagram selfies and contact your mates. A portable phone charge easily fits into a small bag keeping your phone charged on the go.

Small bag

A small shoulder bag or bum bag smaller than a4 size is perfect for carrying all the little items you need such as your phone, wallet, lip balm, sunnies, etc. They are easy to carry around plus still hold all your essentials.

Whilst Listen Out is at the end of September, so itching towards mid-Spring it does tend to get cold later on in the day once the sun goes down. Be sure to pack a jumper or cardigan - you can tie it around your waist then put it on when you’re feeling the chill.

Rain poncho

Your favourite acts will play rain, hail or shine. As the event is outdoors make sure you pack a small poncho you can easily put in your pocket or bag in case a shower comes through.

No one likes squinting when the suns out, not to mention the glare. Make sure you pack your cheap sunnies so you don't risk losing your best and most expensive pair.

A good attitude

The event staff, security and bar attendants are human too, so be sure to use your manners and be polite when you’re speaking to them. They are there to help you have a safe and fun time.

Look after yourself and your friends. We hope you have an incredible day with lots of dancing at Listen Out 2019!
