HBF Arena is approximately 1km from the Joondalup railway station, about 15 minutes by foot. Buses run regularly from the train station and surrounding suburbs.

There are 1000 parking spaces at the venue including disabled and motorbike bays. Bicycle racks are located by the entrance to secure your bike. A parking fee may apply during major events.

What levels do you teach at HBF Arena Swim School? 
I teach stages Two through to Six. 

What certifications do you have?

  • AUSTSWIM Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
  • CPR Certification
  • Department of Education Working with Children Check
  • I also have a certificate from Fremantle Baristas stating I can make a pretty good coffee! 

When did you start instructing? 
I started instructing in 2017. 

Why do you think learning to swim and being proficient at swimming is important?
Swimming is an essential life skill for everyone to have. Not only is it important knowledge to have when partaking in water based activities, but it can also be a fantastic exercise or hobby. Swimming is a great skill to obtain as it has always been a large part of the 'Australian Life'. 

What are your favourite water activities to do in Perth?
Going to the beach with my friends is always a favourite of mine. Sitting by the pool listening to music as well. 

What is something that most people do not know about you?
I was born in Hong Kong. 

Who would you like to be for a day?
A Rock Star!

What is the best part about teaching children how to swim?
When the kids make me laugh or when they finally fix a stroke they have been working on for so long, that sense of achievement is a great feeling.
