We are very excited to see more people in our venues

Posted: 25 June 2020

Following the Premier’s announcement to further ease restrictions we are now opening our venues further in line with Phase 4 of the roadmap.

From Saturday 27 June:

  • all existing gathering limits and the 100/300 rule removed
  • gathering limits only determined by WA’s reduced 2sqm rule
  • no requirement to maintain patron register at food businesses and licensed premises
  • alcohol can be served as part of unseated service arrangements
  • all events permitted except for large scale, multi-stage music festivals
  • unseated performances permitted at venues such as concert halls, live music venues, bars, pubs and nightclubs
  • gyms operating but regular cleaning must be maintained

For WA’s major sport and entertainment venues, a 50 per cent capacity rule will apply.

We are now seeing our programs and services getting back to business as normal.

Gym and Group Fitness : Gym and Group Fitness is now operating as business as normal with added cleaning practices. Check out our new timetable with even more classes now scheduled. Some class times have changed slightly, please check before visiting.

Swimming: The Leisure Pool is estimated to open Monday 13 July.  Swimming/Water walking will be available for our members and the public at limited times. Once the works are completed in the 50m pool operating hours will be back to normal. You will be advised once the works are completed

Swim school: Swim school is due to commence Monday 13 July.  All Swim school customers will be notified shortly with detailed information.

Team sport competitions: Nominations are now open and business is back to normal.

Kids activities: Will return as normal at the beginning of term 3.

Creche/Fun House: Business as usual however bookings are still required

It is vital that we must continue to keep up physical distancing where possible and maintain good personal hygiene to better protect ourselves and the general health of our community.

The safety of our members, staff and all visitors is always our highest priority. As such we have implemented a range of measures to ensure we are providing a safe and healthy venue for you to visit.

Ingress/Egress

Separate entry and exit areas have been established. When you visit please ensure you follow these directional flows to your designated activity.

Cleaning

While our cleaning regime has always been to the highest standard we have added additional measures to ensure a safe venue.

Keep a safe distance

When you visit, please respect others by keeping a safe distance of 1.5m at all times.

Personal hygiene

Please use the hand sanitiser available at entries and throughout the venue and wash your hands regularly.

COVID Safe app

We encourage all our patrons to download and register for the COVID Safe app.

For further information on all available programs and services please read the information below and continue to check our website and Facebook page for updates.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
