HBF Arena is approximately 1km from the Joondalup railway station, about 15 minutes by foot. Buses run regularly from the train station and surrounding suburbs.

There are 1000 parking spaces at the venue including disabled and motorbike bays. Bicycle racks are located by the entrance to secure your bike. A parking fee may apply during major events.

50m Competition Pool (Short course mode)

Minimum of two lanes available for public swimming at all times unless advised. Please note the 50m pool will be in 25m mode at the following times:

  • Tuesday - 3.30pm - 8.00pm 
  • Wednesday - 6.45pm - 8.00pm (Oct - Mar)
  • Thursday - 3.30pm - 8.00pm
  • Sunday - 2.00pm - 5.00pm

Swimming Carnivals

HBF Arena is proud to offer diverse aquatic facilities, perfect for hosting aquatic events like swim meets and school carnivals. During the busy swim carnival season from Feb - Mar, this means the competition pool and some leisure pool areas are unavailable. Check the dates & times below to find the best time to swim.
