Do you work out, swim or attend a class at HBF Arena? Then you can benefit from our fun and entertaining crèche.
Located beside the café, the crèche at HBF Arena enables you to maintain your fitness. Your little ones will be entertained by our qualified carers while you enjoy a work out in the gym, go for swim or attend a group fitness class. Our crèche caters for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years (inclusive), and extends to children up to 12 years on Saturday mornings* (only) and throughout the school holidays with our Funhouse childminding service.
*Numbers are capped so staff will need to put a hold on accepting children when required.

Funhouse: holiday childminding for 5 – 12 year olds
Funhouse
School holiday childminding for kids 5 – 12 years, so you can stay in routine over the school holidays. While you work out we’ll keep your kids entertained with drawing, board games and other activities.
Payment is made via the portal or using the in-venue kiosks.

Operating during school holidays Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Parents must remain on premises and must fill in an enrolment form and attendance register on arrival.

Creche guidelines
You will be required to complete a crèche enrolment form for your child/children which includes terms and conditions. For your convenience we have included a selection of these below.
Signing in and signing out
Please register at main reception upon arrival to obtain a crèche visit card. Please present this visit card to the crèche staff upon entering the crèche, and sign-in your child in the registration book. Children must also be signed-out when leaving the crèche. You will not be allowed to leave your child without providing a crèche visit card.
Parent / guardian
A parent or guardian must remain on HBF Arena premises for the duration of your child’s visit to the crèche.
Infectious conditions
If your child has an infectious condition, please respect other families by not bringing them into the crèche. This includes minor illnesses such as runny noses, chesty coughs and head lice.
Labelling
Please label all of your child’s items, for example clothing, bag, dummy, bottles, toys etc.
Child collection
Please advise a staff member if someone else will be picking up your child.
Change of clothing / bottles etc
Please supply all necessary provisions for your child, for example nappies, baby wipes, change of clothes for emergencies or prepared bottles for babies (heated if necessary).
Food
You may wish to supply a piece of fruit while your child is in our care. The crèche has a fruit only policy. Please ensure only fruit is packed due to allergies.
Prams
All children under two years old must be left in the crèche with a pram for evacuation purposes.
